Wes Mizell is an Associate on MetaProp’s Platform team where he assists MetaProp’s venture development efforts across marketing strategy, thought leadership, innovation advisory, and portfolio support. Prior to joining full-time, Wes interned at MetaProp for over a year providing innovation consulting, corporate venture, and development services for MetaProp’s strategic partners across the commercial real estate, construction, and service industries.

Wes received a Bachelors of Business Administration, with concentrations in Finance and Investment Management, from The University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business. Prior to working at MetaProp, Wes actively participated in the startup community as a founder himself where his entrepreneurial passion led him to pitch at SXSW, Capital Factory, and InbutatorEDU’s National Summit.

Outside of work, Wes enjoys surfing, running in Central Park, playing poker, and cheering for his Longhorns.
