David Friedman serves as a Venture Partner at MetaProp, where he plays a pivotal role in guiding the firm's strategic direction for its growth-fund initiatives and operations.
A seasoned entrepreneur, David leverages his extensive expertise in the real estate technology sector to guide founders through the complexities and nuances of growth and acquisition.
Before joining MetaProp, David co-founded Boston Logic Technology Partners, where he led the development of many first-to-market innovations for real estate brokerages. His efforts led to the company’s successful acquisition by Providence Equity in 2016. In 2018, David co-founded Knox Financial, a company that transformed homeowners into property investors by automating timely ownership and management processes of rental properties, before exiting to Doorstead in late 2022.
David also serves as an advisor to Villcaso, a protocol that streamlines the process of investing in U.S. real estate, as well as the founder of Climb4Climate, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds for reducing global carbon footprints through organized stadium climbs across the U.S.
David received both his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
